Maritime connections
ALTEA SENSE's location allows easy access to three of the main commercial ports in the Valencian Community, which offer regular maritime connections to the Balearic Islands and other international destinations.
Port of Denia
The Port of Denia, about 40 minutes drive from Altea, is the closest and connects with Ibiza (≈ 2h), Formentera and Palma de Mallorca (≈ 5h) by high capacity ferries and fast services. It is one of the most used maritime connection points to travel to the Balearic Islands.
Port of Valencia
Just over 1 hour away is the Port of Valencia, which offers daily routes to Palma de Mallorca (7-9 h), as well as other connections to Menorca, Ibiza and North African destinations. It is also a regular port of call for international cruise ships cruising the Mediterranean.
Port of Alicante
The Port of Alicante, a 40-minute drive away, maintains regular connections with Oran (Algeria) and welcomes an increasing number of cruise ships each year that call or use the city as a home port.
